1. Who We Are

Agorani is operated by Wandity LTD, a software development company based in Cyprus (registered address: 12 Gladstonos, 8046 Pafos, Cyprus; registration number 443181). Agorani is a peer-to-peer marketplace platform for buying and selling secondhand goods in Cyprus.

2. Data We Collect

This website collects limited, cookieless usage analytics (see Section 10) and, when you view a product listing page, a pseudonymized record used to count that listing's views (see Section 5). Beyond this, the website does not collect personal data from visitors. If you use the Agorani app, we also process account and profile data, listings, messages, approximate location data, and referral data, as described below and in the in-app Privacy Policy.

We do not use tracking cookies or analytics tools that set persistent cookies.

3. Approximate Location (Agorani App)

Sharing your location in the Agorani app is entirely optional — you can decline the location permission and still use the app fully. When you do allow location access, we use only coarse, approximate location: the app requests coarse accuracy only, and your coordinates are snapped to a grid of roughly 2 km before they are stored or used. We use this approximate location for exactly two things: showing you listings near you, and setting the approximate area for a listing you post. Your exact location is never shown to or shared with other users or third parties — other users only ever see an approximate distance and a city-level area.

You can remove a listing's location at any time by editing it, and you can revoke the app's location permission at any time in your device's system settings.

4. Referral Data (Agorani App)

When you join the Agorani app using a friend's invite link or referral code, we record who invited whom — the code used, the inviter, and the joiner. For fraud prevention, we also record a device identifier and a hashed, pseudonymized form of your IP address, produced with a one-way keyed hash; we do not store your raw IP address for this purpose. When you open an invite link, we store a short-lived, pseudonymized record — a one-way keyed hash of your IP address plus your device platform, kept for 24 hours — so that if you then install the app we can attribute your installation to the friend who invited you. We never store your raw IP address, and this record is not used to track you across other apps or services.

Referral data — including the short-lived invite-link click record — is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and measuring our referral programme (attributing installations to inviters) and in protecting it from abuse. The invite-link click record is deleted automatically after at most 24 hours; other referral data is retained for as long as the referral relationship is relevant and is deleted or pseudonymized once no longer needed; on account deletion it is pseudonymized like the rest of your personal data.

5. Listing View Analytics (Agorani App and Website)

When you open a product listing — in the Agorani app or on this website — we record one view for that listing so its seller can see how many views and distinct visitors it received. If you are signed in, the view is linked to your user id. If you are not signed in, we identify you using a hashed, pseudonymized form of your IP address, produced with a one-way keyed hash (or, as a fallback, a domain-separated hash of the IP alone). We never store your raw IP address, and we do not use your browser or app user-agent as part of this identifier.

View and visitor counts are visible only to the listing's owner. A seller's own visits to their own listing are not counted while they are signed in, and visits from known bots and crawlers are excluded.

6. How We Use Your Data

If you use the Agorani app, we use your data to provide the marketplace service, enable transactions between users, send notifications, and protect the platform against fraud and abuse. We will never sell or share your personal data with third parties.

7. Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process limited, cookieless usage analytics (e.g. pages viewed and buttons clicked) on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving this website; this processing uses no cookies, does not identify you personally, and is never shared with advertising networks. Listing view records (see Section 5) are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing sellers with basic analytics about their own listings and in protecting the marketplace from abuse. In the Agorani app, approximate location is processed on the basis of your consent, given via the operating system's location permission, and referral data — including the short-lived invite-link click record — is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and measuring our referral programme (attributing installations to inviters) and in protecting it from abuse.

8. Your Rights

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@wandity.com.

9. Data Retention

In the Agorani app, location data lives on your listings and is deleted or anonymized together with them. Referral records are pseudonymized when you delete your account. Invite-link click records are deleted automatically after at most 24 hours. Listing view records are deleted automatically 90 days after the last view they counted, as described in Section 5; records linked to a deleted account are removed as part of account deletion.

10. Cookies

This website does not set tracking cookies. We use cookieless, first-party product analytics (PostHog) to measure aggregate site usage — such as which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked. This tool stores no cookies or persistent identifiers in your browser, does not track you across other websites, and we do not use any advertising networks.
