Always communicate through Agorani's in-app messaging — never share personal contact information before you fully trust the seller.
Meet in public, well-lit places such as coffee shops or busy shopping centre car parks.
Inspect the item thoroughly before paying. Ask questions, request additional photos, or suggest a video call if you can't meet straight away.
Check the seller's profile: their listing history and how long they've been on the platform. These signals matter.
Never send money in advance — always pay in person after you've seen and inspected the item.
Selling Safely
Create honest, accurate listings with clear photos. Accurate listings lead to smoother transactions and fewer wasted meetings.
Only share your address or personal details when you're confident the buyer is genuine and the meeting is confirmed.
For high-value items, meet in a public place rather than at home.
If something feels off, trust your instincts and decline the transaction. No sale is worth your safety.
